Our Soap Design Process

Read our 3-step soap design process for creating your own white label soap with Christina May.

1: Shape

The first step of our soap design process is choosing the size and shape of your soap bar. We offer 8 varying shape and weight options, so whether you are looking for a large bath soap, a rustic unmoulded cut soap, or a mini hand soap, we can accommodate your needs.

Each soap option is manufactured in the same way, using the same ingredients. They are made using pure vegetable oils making them vegan-friendly and cruelty free. Enriched with shea butter and glycerin, the soap bars are long lasting with a rich, luxurious lather. Find out more about the sustainability of our products here.

Each shape of soap bar has different minimum order quantities, we will advise you when you make an enquiry.

2: Fragrance

The second step of our soap design process is selecting your fragrance. We offer a wide range of soap bar scents that include classic favourites such as rose, lavender, and lily of the valley, plus many more fragrances to represent your brand. They include feminine, masculine, and unisex perfumes.

Our soap bar fragrances are designed by UK-based expert perfumers.

In addition, there are options to use your own fragrances, providing they have the appropriate perfume documents (MSDS, IFRA and allergen declaration) to ensure they meet our standards. Please note that there is a larger minimum order requirement to use your own fragrance, and a larger lead time to accommodate product stability testing.

3: Packaging

We will offer you guidance on the suitable packaging for your preferred soap bar shape, and will guide you every step of the way. Once you have got in touch with your enquiry our sales team will email you our white label packaging guide with further details and print guidelines for your graphic designer. We also have a list of recommended printers.

Your white label soaps can either be sent wrapped or unwrapped. Our in house packaging department can provide you with a quote and package your soaps here, or you can package the naked soap bars yourself.

In our packaging guidelines we strongly encourage the use of recyclable materials – our round soap bars work perfectly in paper pleat wraps, while our oval soap bars fit neatly in cardboard boxes. With the rectangular soap bars, you have a choice of paper wraps or cardboard boxes. The combination of recyclable packaging materials and the fact the soap bars are made in England means you can proudly refer to your branded soaps as sustainable.
